Standing slightly over six feet tall, Chimertrol is fabricated out of solid aluminum rods and brass components. It is part of a series that concerns mankind's attempt to control our world, and what we can actually regulate. While we might want to dominate all that happens, life and nature (represented by the twisting rods) changes erratically, only occasionally being restrained by mechanisms contrived by humans.

My artwork has always centered around the theme of control. As individuals we are only small pieces of a much larger system, so we need to work together to make significant change. My work portrays this theme in a variety of ways.
