Description of Artwork: 1. "Courage"- “Courage” was inspired by my awe and respect for all the innovators and risk takers in the early stages of aviation. From Leonardo Da Vinci’s wings to the Wright Brothers and Amelia Earhart. It took great courage and strength and to reach for the sky and learn to FLY. 2. "Letting Go" - Inspired by the desire to let go of fear that keep us from pursuing our dreams. 3. "Hope"- When you're at what seems like the very bottom look around because that is where you will find Hope.

The use of simple geometric shapes establishes a level of recognition for the viewer. The forms represent windows and doors; windows, which allow a view through to the other side and doors which can block the view but allow passage through. The work also references city skylines; these references are not literal but symbolic to ideas, images and emotions; simple in its form and complex in its construction

Description of Artwork: I have done many other forms in sculpture such as cast bronze and solid fabricated sculpture but for this sculpture walk I wanted to present my signature style the Line -sculpture. The piece I am presenting is titled "Look to the Future" A mare and foal standing side by side and heads up and alert as if something is coming! They are powder coated in a metallic silver and then a faded haze of the American flag is sprayed over them, representing the American SPirit.

Description of Artwork: My sculptures are deftly integrated and at ease in their environment. To activate space and engage the viewer I use light, line, text, and shadow while my seamless connections in stainless steel and bronze create visual and physical openings in design while inspiring bonds between the person, the place and the piece. Based on my collection of over 1400 phrases heard aloud, my bronze castings are displayed a few inches from the wall so their shadow becomes an echo of a voice once heard.

Description of Artwork: I create sculptures cast in high-quality art bronze created with a deep coppery patina ranging from maquette to monumental using the lost wax method of casting. Then a skilled foundryman welds each of the sections together, grinds and polishes the sculpture and then a chemical patina is applied.

Description of Artwork: Sculpture is my thing. I appreciate all forms of art but working in three dimensions appeals to me in so many ways. I have gravitated to public art. It’s really the ultimate showcase for my work -- it’s out there for all the world to see and love or not. My specific focus is on welded steel, copper, brass and aluminum. I often combine that with stone, wood and now also ceramic materials. Depending on the preference of the piece, I will go with natural patinas but also seriously love color.
